Barling Benjamin | Ye Olde Wood 1816
Barling
The "Benjamin" series is dedicated to the company founder Benjamin Barling. At the 1851 World's Exhibition in London, he won the highest honors for his silver work on pipes and gained worldwide attention.
Benjamin Barling marked all of his works with his initials 'BB'. The motif decorating the sterling silver applique of this series also shows a watchtower and two crossed swords in a laurel wreath. 1812 stands for the year of foundation and 925 for the level of purity of the silver.
